Interesting story to tell: I bit into an olive at breakfast and broke my tooth on the pit What followed was a Turkish Medical System Culture Shock:

A wonderful Turkish female dentist in Triz took me right away, filed the tooth and filled it. It was a great experience.

The cost for the dental care was 500 Turkish Lire…. which is equivalent to $15.45 US dolllars.

Then, I lost my blood pressure medication between a hotel and home. I found out you can replace them at a pharmacy without a prescription. 

What a difference from home.
