vietnam.

We home hosted two government officials from VietNam. They spoke very little English, but we managed to communicate with sign language and lots of laughter. Somehow they managed to communicate to us that they want to attend “professional sports.” We were happy to comply by escorting and accompanying them to a Mets game. At the FFLI farewell dinner, all the home hosts were asked to share something they experienced during the course of the week. We mentioned that our ambassadors learned a bit of English. Our two gentlemen ambassadors stood up, and on command, shared the English they learned during their time with us -- “Lets Go Mets!”
